Tech Support For Parents

GCPS will issue Chromebooks to all students in grades 3-12 for the 2022-23 school year. Students will use them at school and take them home to extend learning beyond the school day. Students in grades K-2 will access a Chromebook daily in their classroom.

Parents must monitor the appropriate use of technology at home, even though content filtering is applied to devices. Students in households with limited or no internet access can request a hotspot from their local school. Local schools will communicate their schedules for device distribution. Students must use devices according to the GCPS Acceptable Use Policy and the Student Conduct Behavior Code.
