Senate Bill 401 mandates annual, age-appropriate education on sexual abuse and assault awareness and prevention for students in kindergarten through grade 9. Gwinnett County Public Schools uses the Teen Lures™ Prevention program, based on research, to teach students about the importance of healthy relationships and personal safety. This program includes class discussions, student handouts, video clips, and related activities.
